The getNbObs() function returns the number of observations for a storm in a storm or stormsList object.

Usage

getNbObs(s, ...)

# S4 method for class 'storm'
getNbObs(s)

# S4 method for class 'stormsList'
getNbObs(s, name, season = NULL)

Arguments

s

storm or stormsList object.

...

extra arguments for stormsList

name

character. Name of the storm in capital letters.

season

numeric. Cyclonic season of the storm. Required only if several storm in the s have the same name. Default value is set to NULL.

Value

numeric.
